Excellent food in a Japanese-style restaurant served on a variety of handmade and unique dishes. Wonderful atmosphere and a small menu in English for those of us with limited understanding of kanji. You can choose individual dishes or a set menu that has 6 appetizers and a main course plus rice and an incredible miso soup. For the western palate, the owner serves wonderful fried chicken bits and for everyone else there is a variety of vegetable, pork and fish, including sashimi and tempura. The pork medallions have a delectable smokey flavor. Presentation is spot on - the owner has carefully selected a wide variety of handmade pottery made locally and we were delighted to see and handle each one during the course of our dinner.
