We arrived around 18:30 and were seated at one of the two tables by the bar. We were with our two kids. The menu offers a wide variety of Japanese dishes. For the kids, we ordered mackerel and some fries. We had one set with sashimi and tempura, and another with sashimi and soban. Both were delicious. Stopped in for a quick lunch, and this place didn’t disappoint. We were short on time, and a bit concerned that we had to wait to be seated. But no worries - without prompting, our order was taken before we were seated and our food arrived 10 minutes after we got to the counter. Reception was very friendly and the staff were very kind. As a foreign customer I felt welcomed right away.

The food was delicious and was prepared very quickly. Menu is partly translated in english which is very good for travelers.

It's a very small restaurant so it can be easily full at peak times. I visited there at 6.30 pm and got seated right away.
