This was the most memorable meal we’ve had so far on our trip around Japan. After being turned away at another restaurant, they invited us in with a warm welcome. We don’t speak fluent Japanese but were able to order without problems using translation apps with the staff who were happy to accommodate. Discovered by accident. For everyone who hates tourist traps, this is the spot for you. Wonderful service. Wonderful food. Wonderful authentic atmosphere. We were the only tourists there. Staff was very helpful to surprise us with some suggestions. We recommend sashimi platter, side dish platter and the maple nut cheese tofu. To drink we had umeshu (plum wine) on the rocks. Price is very cheap if you compare the quality of the food and service with other restaurants...

Great place to enjoy delicious food! We tried several dishes, recommended by the staff and the locals sitting next to us. The basic menu is in English, google translate helps with the suggestions and some staff's English is sufficient to help you out! The atmosphere was really fun, you should not miss out on this!
