A standing bar that can probably fit no more than a dozen people max, including the limited seating on the second floor. Closes early around dinner time, which means it's more of a quick stop than a hangout watering hole.
As a low-maintenance solo drinker and sampler of local microbreweries, this was just fine for me. The bartender did not speak much English and was reserved, but courteous enough to respond to basic interactions. Just don't expect him to entertain you and have deep conversations on the taste notes of the beer, especially in English.

Still without knowing the hand bag was missing, we found ourselves in another hotel a couple of blocks away An hour or so later, the two beautiful young ladies from the brewery walked in with my wife’s bag! Read moreThe best place to stop by for beer lovers! The tap room is a bit small but they have an upstairs as well. On tap they had 5 beers and a hop cider. The bar tender was very lovely and cheerful, enabling a conversation for all guest at the bar. If you're curious about trying fantastic Japanese beer you should definitely go there.
