A small counter-only restaurant run by the lovely owner Emily. The restaurant offers vegan options and is known for its vegetable-based dishes (see photo: menu subject to change depending on the season as of August 21, 2025). I visited on a weekday evening as a single adult male. There were two other groups at the counter: a woman and a couple of foreign travelers. The Italian couple mentioned they visit daily during their stay in Matsumoto. Apparently, many inbound travelers frequent the place. When asked why such a hidden gem is so popular, they explained it appears at the top of English Google searches. Makes sense. The shop offers a variety of rare alcoholic beverages selected by the owner, including Manchin Craft Beer. It’s a place where you can enjoy drinks even during the day. Of course, soft drinks and herbal teas are also available. If I ever have the opportunity to visit Matsumoto again, I would definitely like to stop by this shop. Payment is by cash or PayPay. Thank you for the meal! カウンターだけの小さな 笑顔が素敵な店主エミリーさんワンオペのお店。ヴィーガンメニューもあり、噂の野菜が主役のメニューたちです(写真参考: メニューは2025/08/21現在 季節で変わるそうです) 大人1人(男)、平日の夜に立ち寄りました。カウンターには先客が２組、女性1人と外国人旅行者のカップル。イタリアからのカップルは松本に滞在してる間、毎日通っているとか。話を聞けばインバウンドの方々がとても多いそう。とても隠れ家的なお店なのに何故かと伺えば、英語のGoogle検索でトップに表示されてるそうでした。納得です。 店主セレクトの様々な珍しいお酒が置いてあり、ビールは万珍クラフトビールでした。昼からも飲めるお店です。もちろんソフトドリンクやハーブティーも充実してました。松本に行く機会があったら、是非また立ち寄りたいお店でした。ごちそうさまでした！

I came back twice, it was so delicious. Emily prepares the food in front of you - no cross contamination. She uses local, organic produce. Thanks so much for the delicious meals!

A magical place, great atmosphere, the owner is preparing the food in front of you. We eat 2 very tasty meals, vegan and regular. Both were delicious and authentic. We found this place with a bit of luck, took us 10 min walking from the center of the town, another 5 min to find the exact location, and it was worth any sec of it.

A magical place, great atmosphere, the owner is preparing the food in front of you. We eat 2 very tasty meals, vegan and regular. Both were delicious and authentic. Such an amazing and personable restaurant. Emily is so kind and made amazing food. It felt like visiting a friend. It's a special place.
