Nice restaurant with a very traditional japanese vibe, the interior and exterior are just so beautiful. They serve set meals using local ingredients. We ordered the oyster set, conger eel rice bowl set and sashimi set, food presentation is simple beautiful and elegant. food ingredients are super fresh and very delicious, it is enjoyable and satisfying to dine here. the staff are also friendly and food did come pretty quickly as well. we had a great meal here and it's also a very nice ambiance to take some lovely photos, definitely worth...

Nice place near the centre of Matsushima. Wasn't crowded when we went at around 7PM. The menu is mainly focused around seafood dishes including Matsushima's local specialty - oysters. I opted for the "sashimi zen" and also a plate of grilled oysters on the side. The seafood was fresh, as expected from a seaside town. It is a little pricey however (3000 yen in total) and if you just want to eat oysters then there are other stores around town that offer cheaper all you can...

Ordered the traditional oysters 3-way with sashimi set meal and it didn't disappoint. The best way to try out the oysters here imho in a cosy traditional restaurant settings.
