I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Every dish we tried was delicious, but the highlight was definitely the Maesawa beef sukiyaki — incredibly tender and practically melted in my mouth. I also tried horse meat sashimi for the first time, which came with a spicy miso paste and a mustardy side salad that really enhanced the flavor.
Don’t miss the handmade udon — it had a perfect firm texture that’s hard to find elsewhere. They also offer a great selection of sake; we chose one from Iwate and really enjoyed it.
