Pizza＆Pasta La Rosetta — Restaurant in Morioka

Update We went back, we couldn't stay away from the delicious food. Got the salad again (still fresh, crunchy) and the pasta with parmigiano reggiano.

We checked the menu again, and under the Marinara pizza, it did say anchovies. I guess we didn't think to look for it as it usually isn't an ingredient found on the marinara pizza.

Delicious!!!! Our favorite, so far, in Morioka. We ordered the green salad which came with a garlic dressing. The veggies were so fresh, crunchy, and the dressing was light but flavorful.

My husband ordered the Marinara pizza which actually came with bits of sardines on it. We didn't know/maybe missed it on the menu, so if you're vegetarian, make sure to let them know to not add it. We would have liked a little more sauce and more cooked (we like our pizza darker/well done)

I ordered the pasta with the parmigiana which they cook side-table. It was delicious!!! The pasta was cooked perfectly! It also came with mushrooms which I didn't realize, but I loved it.

The lambrusco was good, drier than I would like.

The tiramisu with the gelato - so good!! The tiramisu was moist, not heavy, and the coffee gelato had a hint of cinnamon which was surprising and good.

This restaurant is extremely underrated. I am so glad that I stumbled upon this restaurant because the food was simply spectacular. There is no compromise in ingredients. The arrabiata pasta was extremely authentic, and even came with crab 🦀. The parmigiano spaghetti was also well balanced and the flavor was prominent. They actually put your pasta in a wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano right in front of you. Finally, the four cheese pizza was a unique treat. It was divided into four sections, each highlighting a different kind of cheese 🧀. Service was also great 😌. I have never been to a better Italian place because the atmosphere is so inviting and it feels like you are right in Italy.
