The best place to get sushi and have a great time in Morioka.
My boyfriend, friend and I were whisked away by cheeky Japanese locals (who wouldn't tell me their name because I couldn't read kanji) while trying to look for a bar, and given the best 2 hour experience we could have asked for in the winter night.
The sashimi is delicious, the natto rolls equally as so. I reccomend getting yourself some shochu and water, and not talking about how Saporro beer is better than Kirin.
The chefs, staff and customers are very friendly, I reccomend knowing abit of Japanese before entering so you can fully experience how lively and kind everyone is.

Read moreWas invited in by a welcome Japanese man. He brought us to a tatami room with what appeared to be his wife and ordered up some sushi, mackrel rolls, natto rolls and of course alcohol.
After a few hours of talking eating and drinking we find out hes the boss and hes treated us to a night on him. Very kind and a great experience. He truly just wanted us to enjoy what his town has to offer and showed us lovely hospitality while mingling with the locals.
