This place is a MUST GO for anyone visiting Nagoya! I went with my partner and we both ordered the apple pie with ice cream and it was the BEST apple pie we have ever had. The other desserts also looked incredible.
Tourist notes: This is a dessert cafe. Google will take you to the front of the building and it is downstairs. When you walk in, you will find seats to the right - this is the queue to get a table, so sit down and shuffle along as people are seated - the staff will collect you when you are first in the queue. The menu is all Japanese, but do not let this deter you - I suggest having google translate ready, however it is very easy to order the apple pie as it seems to be their signature dish and has a separate menu page (our waitress also spoke a little English). They bake the apple pie to order, so don’t go in a rush - ours only took about 15 mins to come out though, so not too long of a wait at all. Hot chocolate lovers must also order a hot chocolate (incredible!). It is also cash only, so be prepared for about 1-2000 yen per person depending on...
Read moreThe apple pie is truly delicious and is worth every Yen and more. Definitely have it with the ice cream! The pie crust is crispy and the apples are full of flavour with a little bit of bite to them. Even after I had finished eating and had my early evening chuhai, I could still taste the pie lol The coffee was really nice too, and I'm not much of a coffee person. Came to a total of 1400 yen, which in itself is possibly a bit expensive, but didn't feel wrong given the quality. The main issue is the wait though. I think it took nearly an hour and a half from me arriving to actually have my pie in front of me. They are popular and I know they are trying not to change how they do things, but I think there are ways they could organise customers better during busy periods. It's well-worth the...
Read moreA place with delicious dessert, specializing in their apple pie! 🥧 It takes 25 minutes for the pie to get ready. It's worth the wait! We also got the coffee jelly and honey toast. One of the best apple pies I've had. No English menu, there is mainly locals here. I would recommend to translate the menu beforehand (the menu pictures on Google are up to date) and order right away when they sit you down. We had to wait 30 minutes in line, you won't regret it! They do close late but they do stop the line before the...
