Desperados Mexican Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Nagoya

I had some doubts when going to this place for the first time. I’ve eyed it two years before but we decided to finally go and give it a try. It was a completely worthy trip for me.

The drinks were spectacular and the food taste was excellent. It really reminded me of Mexican food back in South America and the apenas was very on point for every dish. I’m by no means a lover of spicy food, but the taste of the Quesadillas and the Enchiladas were perfect.

The staff was very nice with us, but sadly, it seems that on that day there was just one lady staffing the whole place. Besides that, the attention was great. I totally recommend it if you want a flavor trip through Mexican cuisine or to just hang out with some friends and have a few...

We were looking for Mexican restaurants for the Independence Day (16 de septiembre) and found this place.

Really nice environment , Mexican decorations all over the place and mariachi in the background.

Food was exceptionally good, it is actually Mexican food (flavors, textures). They have also Tex-Mex options just as good.

Service was excellent. We enjoyed celebrating here with tequila shots.

We ate everything: enchiladas verdes, enchiladas de mole, tacos de carne, quesadilla de bistec, etc. it was delicious.

Really authentic place.

Best Tex-Mex you'll find in Nagoya! Cook/owner is from Mexico and makes the best enchilada I've ever had! Texas nachos are great and the wet burrito is awesome too. Put simply, I've ordered almost everything on the menu at one point or another and have never been disappointed. Bartender/owner makes a fantastic Margarita on the rocks and probably the best Mojito I've had in Japan. Try her Long Island Iced Tea if you really want to get the night started!
