I've ordered takeout from Shooter's 3 times, and each time I got the same thing. Twice have been for my birthday, and once was because I liked the food. I don't have any complaints about the taste or quality of the food, it's just kind of pricey. The reason I'm writing this review though, is because the last time I went there, I got some attitude from the person at the counter for using a coupon. I used the same coupon for my birthday last year with no problems at all, yet this time, I was made to feel as though I was inconveniencing the company for using it. He said something like, this (ordering takeaway?) isn't the purpose of the coupon, it's supposed to be bringing more business in. Some places in America will give you a full meal for free on your birthday with no strings attached, and here I am paying 100% of the value of the coupon with the amount of food I ordered being shamed for using a coupon that Shooter's themselves distributed. There is no internationally recognized, common sense etiquette for using coupons. Put fine print on the coupon if you have rules for using the coupon! Buy one get one, free drink with purchase, valid for parties only... I don't like being made to feel bad on my birthday. I hate to say it, but I don't think I'll...
Read moreForeigner friendly bar with great servers and customer service. I come here especially for the hot wings as I miss them so much from Atlanta. Their hot wings definitely fulfill my craving.
The drinks are spot on. The prices are more expensive, but I believe they give you a good amount for the price. Same goes with the food prices. The portions are what I consider American sized (you know, it's called one portion in America, but can feed 2 or 3 people depending).
The atmosphere is like a bar/restaurant. They also have an English school within the restaurant.
They do take debit and credit cards here. I highly recommend this place if you need that...
Read moreI love Shooters! I don’t get to go as often but when I do it’s always a good time. They have a points based loyalty system from Line and I always like to go during their annual Super Bowl event. They always go all out for us foreign expats. You can order in English and people also speak Japanese if you’re not confident with your English. Also lots of events and opportunities to meet native English speakers if that interests you. Highly recommend to any American person who feels a little homesick from time to time. The Kirin Stout is a beer for the books! ...
