Amazing Chinese food!! 😋This restaurant is a true hidden gem for locals and adventurous tourist, run by a sweet and kind-hearted couple. Although there’s a language barrier—me not speaking Japanese and them not speaking English—they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and communicate.
With the help of Google Translate and a kind local customer, we managed just fine. One of the most charming aspects is the elderly lady who takes your order; she’s incredibly friendly, though she can no longer distinguish the writing on the menu if you try to point the dish you want😅. A helpful tip: take a picture of name in Japanese your chosen dish (after you translated it and you know that you what that), enlarge it on your phone, and show it to her!
The food is absolutely delicious, the gyosas and the stir fried vegetables with shrimps!! making it well worth the effort 🥳. It’s definitely a spot frequented by locals due to the language, but if you can navigate through that, you're in for a treat. The chef, an equally sweet elderly man, puts so much care into each dish, making it a unique and heartwarming experience.
