Little izakaya ran by a wonderful lady. I don’t know how she was able to take the orders, serve the drinks, cook, serve and clean, being a one-woman-show. Super friendly with great food and drink suggestions at very reasonable prices. Some of the fixed menu is prepared in a limited quantity each day, so once it’s finished, that’s it. Aya and Mari were very welcoming! They recommended what I should get (after I asked for their recommendations) and both the food and the sake were quite good. But it was really the atmosphere that excelled :) We chatted quite a lot (as much as the language barrier permitted) and it was very relaxed and nice. Also chatted with some of the other customers.

After being rejected for an unknown reason at a nearby restaurant, I stumbled in here and was greeted with open arms and great hospitality as a foreigner by Mr. Tanji.
