A real hidden gem of a ceramics shop in Nara. I dropped in here towards the end of my visit to Nara and found the most wonderful and unique gift for my grandmother and a great coffee mug for myself. The items in the store are so very beautiful and it’s really enjoyable to browse through their selection. The owners are incredibly hospitable and I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Lovely little shop! Staff were very kind and helpful! We wondered in when there were two sessions being held, so space was a little tight in the studio (there were also four of us), but we had enough space to browse the pottery! Lovely illustration of deer on the other side (not pictured). Perfect size for a cappuccino!

They provided a box and bubble wrap for us to take our pottery home in. Both pieces survived a 18 hour travel...

We wondered in when there were two sessions being held, so space was a little tight in the studio (there were also four of us), but we had enough space to browse the pottery! Lovely illustration of deer on the other side (not pictured). Perfect size for a cappuccino! They provided a box and bubble wrap for us to take our pottery home in. Both pieces survived a 18 hour travel day back home!
