Found a little gem! The meat (ordered shrimp, chicken, squid, pork, and beef) was all tender and juicy. The favourite was the katsu sandwich - crisp toasted bread with juicy katsu - the flavour was delicious. The customer service was brilliant. Despite the language barrier, the owners (a clearly well-oiled machine of a husband and wife team) worked in harmony and attended to our requests attentively and in such a friendly manner. Such a wonderful place. Had tried to go back the next day but unfortunately Google was correct, they were indeed closed on Wednesday which was a shame as I could only eat there once before I had to leave but I will be back! Don't miss out on this little hidden gem! (It is a small establishment, about x2 seats of 2 and x2 seats of x1).

His wife considerately switched the local news channel to a Jackie Chan movie as I barely speak any Japanese and I was the only customer at that time. The Nara katsudon was delicious and different from those I had in NYC. I really like this place!

A really homey place with the most wonderful owners. The food was really good, we had the nara katsudon and the katsukare. The price was more than fair (around 2000 yen including drinks and shaved ice for dessert). It is cash only. Definitely recommend, but be aware that it is a small place , maximum capacity of no more...
