Udon Restaurant Tsunagu — Restaurant in Nara

Ordered the set meal with rice, tempura，udon tofu set.

The Udon is very tasty and chewy. You can tell it's made with care and the hot broth of the Udon noodle is light yet flavourful enough. If you want more umami, you can add the condiments into the broth which is also provided. The tofu is soft, just lightly sweet enough that it compliments the broth with the Udon.

The tempura, really good. Especially the chicken is juicy and crunchy!

The rice was surprisingly good and you can add some soy sauce to make it more salty if you want.

Overall a very good udon shop that is filling...

Amazing Udon, chewy texture and soup which was perfect. Set I ordered included a small don which was amazing. Tempura was fried to perfection and besides prawn tempura, had chicken and fish cake as well. Waiter was friendly and chef was kind, sorry for knocking down a chair on the way out 😓 Menu was Japanese only but you could order easily with some pictures 👍 Would come again when I'm in Nara. Just an absolutely delicious udon restaurant! It it kind of tucked away but so worth the visit. The staff immediately greeted us and were super friendly the entire time. The restaurant is a decent size for Japan and was very cute. We all ordered different versions of the udon dinner and it was phenomenal.
