This is a very reasonably priced all you can eat yakiniku restaurant. There is no one drink minimum and you can stay for up to 3 hours. The all you can eat costs 2,700 yen. This price only covers the cost of the meat, however. Other items must be ordered separately at an ala carte price. The good news is that you are encouraged to bring in drinks, sauces, vegetables, desserts etc and consume those items there. There is a supermarket on the first floor of the building so if you buy vegetables to bbq, the owner will happily wash and cut them. The sign clearly states this and we witnessed the other customers doing this during our visit. This disruptive approach to dining out deserves far more more stars than I'm leaving for this review. I deducted stars for the following reasons: restaurant does not accept credit card, it took a while for the service to get rolling, inconsistent meat quality. First order took forever to come. I guess the owner is betting most customers cannot get past the initial order so better quality of meat was used for our first order (which was quite generous) than the subsequent orders. The more we ordered the less impressive quality of meat was presented..it wasn't bad, just it didn't compare to first order. Also the grills are a bit strange as they cook the meat from above, as opposed to traditional cooking methods of placing the meet over flame. This has it's benefits as there was no smoke and clothes did not stink at all. If the quality of the meat was consistent I would have given this restaurant an additional star. There is not a huge selection of seating but we were seated immediately at 6pm on Monday. When we left at 8pm there were some people waiting to get in despite other local restaurants not...
Read moreWe went there for diner, As the staff only gave us one menu for the entire table, we weren’t able to understand everything all at once, The person with the menu chose up for us all what we taught to be an all you can eat wagyu menu at 3250 ¥ That WAS NOT.
As the waitress wasn’t able to speak clearly in English we understood after asking for some rice and vegetables that it was not included. If you want to go for all you can eat diner, go for the NON WAGYU set menu.
The wagyu meat was ok and the marinade great. The pork meat and the beef served as appetizer was not great, too fat and made the experience really less pleasant,
There was nearly no vegetables (2 slices of cabbage and 1/8 of a pepper), no rice… for this price please can you offer one rice bowl ?
The table was clean and so the seats, but the walls and the top of the grill absolutely not !!
The service was not excellent … sometimes we were calling the waitress tree of four times so she may see us, The TV sound was way too loud,
And cherry on the cake, taxes are not shown in the menu and the credit cart...
Read moreThe owners were friendly and recommended the all-you-can-eat option. There are food/drink menus in English and they do their best to accommodate to foreigners👌🏻🙂 Portions were large yet equally as delicious-- I prefer less fat on my meat, so the beef cuts were perfect to me. Even the chicken was great quality. Awesome drinks, I definitely recommend the lemon highball. They have a wagyu course for those who want more choices.
Things I noticed: There are only two people working right in front you, so be patient! This goes to everyone who comes to eat-- I understand you're hungry but you should be polite and patient! It's a small restaurant and understaffed. When you understand this, your perspective on the customer service is often way better.
Not sure about bringing your own sauces and side dishes (per other reviews), but just ask questions and use Google Translate if you have to! The owners are super cute and kept saying "hello" and "thank you very much!"
お世話になりました!...
