OIL SLOPE — Restaurant in Nara

at first I wanted to leave a good review, the waiter was nice at the beginning and the drinks and pizza were brought quickly. but it was my birthday, at the end I just wanted to eat one macaroon with a candle 🎂, a small French pastry, not even a cake, the waiter came over and started saying NO rudely, I said it was my birthday but I didn't get anything good. in my country and in Europe this is not accepted, for me it was wild and very sad. despite the good pizza I would not return to this establishment :( I think that no one can behave like this. and if you don't know English, you can just show some respect and translate your opinion into English, and not shout something in Japanese that the visitor...

It really seems true what many of the more recent reviews state: this place does not want to serve foreigners….at least no women. I went there to try it out with my two sons and when I came in they immediately told me that people under 20 years of age were not allowed…really??? I have been to many bars and drinking places in Japan that served food and this has never been an issue! Also there is no law stating this. This is really fishy….and strange. Anyway, their loss, but it is a shame to see these things happening. We ended up in a nice Yakitori place just...

After a long sight seeing day, me and my boyfriend wanted to grab a little bite and just sit down. Despite the restaurant was empty, the waitress seated us at the bar because all tables were "reserved". When we left the restaurant was still half empty. Our starter arrived after we ate half of our main dish. Pizzas were not really good. One swam in oil. The other had way too much garlic. Pizza dough itself was not yet fully ready baked and way to soft. I would not at all...
