We stopped by this place while wandering around Nara, and I’m so glad we did. The staff were incredibly kind, especially to our kid — they made him feel right at home and even brought out a special dish just for him. It really meant a lot. The food was awesome. Super fresh, nicely balanced flavors, and you could tell they actually care about what they’re serving. Nothing felt rushed or sloppy, even though it’s a casual place. If you’re in Nara and want a laid-back spot with great food and genuinely kind people, definitely check this place out.

I had the “why not?” coconut ice cream affogato because why not? It was so delicious and refreshing in the hot July afternoon heat. Make sure you clarify that you want affogato, I didn’t specify and so I just got ice cream at first and had to pay a second time for the espresso. I also ran into trouble pouring the cute espresso pitcher so be careful! 😅

I had the “why not?” coconut ice cream affogato because why not? It was so delicious and refreshing in the hot July afternoon heat. Make sure you clarify that you want affogato, I didn’t specify and so I just got ice cream at first and had to pay a second time for the espresso. I also ran into trouble pouring the cute espresso pitcher so be careful! 😅

Really tasty and fresh food!

I thought that it would be the kind of healthy food place that is somewhat bland, but I was wrong! The autumn bowl was delicious and had a really flavorful sauce. It was nice to have a healthy yet delicious meal. Prices are a little higher but that’s to be expected.

Ambience is peaceful and calm. Staff was kind and speaks English.
