A fun restaurant serving good quantities of very simple food for reasonable prices.

The concept of the restaurant is unique, in that they literally only serve one dish: meat and eggs. The only difference in the menu items is how many eggs and how much meat you want, and if you're lucky, if you want squid chunks added to your eggs. Each order comes with a small bowl of miso soup and unlimited rice, of which you get a personal bucket from which you can shovel out as much as you like.

I got the eggs-with-squid with my meat (called "Mix" on the menu), and it was delicious! Both the meat and eggs were a little saltier than I usually like, but the saltiness allows you to eat a lot of the plain white rice, which is probably by design so business people can really fill up for lunch.

We saw this shop on YouTube and decided to give it a try. It’s only open during the week and for just a few hours starting at 11 a.m.. You will mostly see Japanese men in the queue. Although it’s easy for tourists to order too as it only serves beef and egg, and the only decision is the portion size, based on the grams of beef. There is an English menu when you get inside but you probably don’t need it as portion size is proportional to the price. Rice, radish, and soup come complimentary. Overall, it’s a fun experience and offers a lot of protein for a reasonable price, whereas many of the cheaper options in the area mostly provide carbs with little to no protein.
