Good place to appreciate tea ceremony but I hope there were English translations of the explanations, not just what the items are. The museum visitors seemed to be people who know how to properly conduct a museum visit, and their seriousness and silence gave off a vibe that makes one want to do the same. It’s really sad that I can’t do much other than look at the pieces because I couldn’t read Nihongo. University students get a discount. Exhibit area cannot be photographed.

I love it. If I have more time in good weather, I would explore more of the museum. As the guard told me that he needed to close the place for the day, I was so disappointed with the rest of the museum that I had not explored yet. I will go back...

Worth it if you're really into tea ceremony utensils (which I am!), but it's quite small, given the price. Exhibition names are translated to English, but not descriptions, so please be aware. Nice...
