Toyoko Inn Osaka Yodoyabashi-eki Minami — Hotel in Osaka

A very comfortable stay: location is amazing - Midosuji (red) line close to Namba and Umeda (large transport hubs), but not too close to be stuck in endless crowds; clean and comfy neighbourhood, mostly office buildings, but a lot of cafés and cosy places to dine. A beautiful park on the river not far away from the hotel, in October there were roses in bloom. The room was clean, the staff was very polite and helpful. I liked the free breakfasts the hotel provided - they were very tasty and satisfying. The minor issue I had is the soundproofing of the doors, you can clearly hear your neighbours in the hall and if you open the window, you can hear the wind howling through the door. I'm a light sleeper, so I just used the earplugs. But if I'll visit Osaka again, I would definitely stay here...

Well presented and clean hotel. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. They gave us lots of suggestions to do and see in Osaka. Yodoyabashi train line is very convenient to get to and from the main tourist spots - although Japan in general has the best train system I've ever experienced. There is a 7/11 across the road which is very convenient. There is also a laundry and dryer at the lobby which I found really handy. Only thing I didn't appreciate about this hotel is having to leave the room by 10am until about 3-4pm for housekeeping. They do however leave enough towels etc if they are unable to enter your room. Only hard keys available and had to be left at reception every time you leave the hotel, overall...
