What I’ve gathered from this place, TIKTOK made it famous and the staff offer 20% discount to leave a 5 star review. I asked a staff member that was leaving on what to do, she made us stand outside of the line with no direction and walked away. She came back after 5 minutes, said nothing to us and walked back inside. Finally someone met us at the door and pointed towards the cash register. Upon asking what to do, nothing was said. There are no directions. There is no help. I got my bowl, made it to the cashier to pay, she kept giving me an X with her arms. There was no effort to assist on what to do. I needed to get more food to weigh enough for it to cost at least 1000 Yen. There was no direction and assistance from the staff. She kept giving me x’s with her arms. A piece of advice for the reader, do some type of research before arriving. There’s a language barrier here and they don’t care. They will make no effort to help a foreigner. This was the first time I've been to this place. My wife really likes it and there's so many people posting TikToks about it. Their strong point is the choices of things you can eat.

I think the food handling was a little unsanitary. You put your food in a bowl and give it to them to weigh which is fine. What I didn't like was that they stacked those bowls filled with customers' food on top of previous orders. Sure they cook it and the heat kills most bacteria. But if there was anything gross on the bottom of those bowls handled by other people, guess where it's going. Next the cups were dirty. There was a gloss of soap residue or something in all the cups for water I used, so I just drank from my water bottle.

We came here because we saw the good reviews, but only later to find out the reviews are a scam. Basically you get your food yourself, which we didn’t know at the start and nobody helped us to figure it out. Later we got the food and the check-out lady says we could get 20% off if we leave a 5-star review. However, during the checkout, we just wanted to double check the spiceness in the soup and the one certain ingredient. She gave us eye rolls and asked us questions back, which made me feel unwelcome.
