If you don’t speak Japanese, pls DONT COME unless you wanna taste what is discrimination. Hotel has policy check-in time at 3pm, I appreciate the policy so I waited in the lobby since I came earlier. But when I saw other guests speaking Japanese get their room keys, I went up to the reception and the employee immediately told me check-in time is 3pm without even taking my passport and checking room availability. I told her what I saw and asked maybe they have empty rooms available? She finally took my passport and checked, and found out they do have rooms. But not surprisingly, they assigned me the lowest level, closed room to the elevator. Literally when elevator is opened, there is my room! I don’t care of floor level but I have sleeping issue, so I went back to the reception and ask if I can change to another room. The reception employee told me No, there is no available room in entire hotel. How come! Since it’s not 3pm yet, guests come after me won’t have any rooms available? Or they purposely reserved the worst room in this hotel to me as you can tell I’m a foreigner by my name? The other day in the morning I was going to Expo and forgot to bring my mask, I asked the front desk reception if I can get a mask, they told me the entire hotel has No Mask! What a liar?! I told him that I saw your employees wearing mask, so you don’t have spare one? He said their employees paid for their own mask… I have lived in multiple hotels all the way from Tokyo, Kyoto, they all provided masks to guests… this Candeo hotel is just as cheap as it can be although the room price is...
Read moreThis hotel is amazing. Their location is fantastic, walking distance to almost anywhere in Shinsaibashi and Namba. The room i stayed is equipped with Simmons beds and we have the luxury of a L shape huge sofa and a interactive TV that also shows the occupancy of the washing machines and dryers (coin operated) as well as the SKY SPA. Their staff members are equally amazing and a special shout out to particular staff member, Ryu, for her exceptional service.
Ryu's hospitality extended way before our arrival at the hotel. We communicated well in English via email. Ryu went above and beyond to help us secure reservations at several popular restaurants in Osaka. These restaurants are notoriously difficult to get into, as they only accept reservations by phone and they can only speak Japanese. Ryu's attentiveness to details and willingness to assist ensured that I could enjoy these dining experiences during my stay in Candeo Hotel Osaka Shinsaibashi made my stay even more exceptional.
Throughout my visit, Ryu remained incredibly helpful and friendly. Her positive attitude and genuine smiles made a real difference, and her excellent suggestions helped to make my stay even more memorable and relaxing.
I would also like to extend our thanks to the rest of the team at the hotel including the housekeeping and those at the reception. Everyone I encountered was professional, courteous, and contributed to a truly memorable experience. My definite choice of hotel for my next...
Read moreBooked this hotel back in 2023 when it was not even open yet. We were not disappointed! ||Pros: Perfect location, right in the middle of shinsaibashi & namba. You can use both metro stations. Surrounded by restaurants and shops...a stone's throw away from the Glico sign. Even if it's in the shopping district, the entrance is located at Mido-suji, a big road away from all the noise and crowd. It's also the main street for all the luxury brands. Louis Vuitton is just a block away. There's a 7/11 next door. Our family had 3 rooms and the hotel was gracious enough to fulfill our request to be placed next to each other. Loved the ice machines located on every floor though I'd hope they'll also add microwaves in every floor too instead of just the top floor. Amenities are placed at the lobby for guest to take. Receptionists were accommodating and spoke good english.||Cons: The toilets are sensor/motion activated, the lights automatically turn on when you enter. Management should note that this should be improved because our child had to suffer with blinking lights throughout the stay because the sensor wasn't fully detecting him. Pillows were too flat. They do not provide body lotion, something every hotel should have. Didn't use the sky spa though went to check it, you need to be naked as swimwear is not allowed...||Overall, we would definitely be back here...
