海鮮創作 くり木 — Restaurant in Osaka

This restaurant is highly racist and actually scammed us. If you are a foreigner, do NOT come here. It started with us entering when there were 2 places we could sit- two seats by the small bar and a small table for 2. Even though we were there first, they gave the table to two Japanese people who came AFTER us. They said it was because they had reserved but not once did they check their “reservation” they just told them to sit there. My partner and I did not want to make a problem so we sat at the bar. The wait was long and the food was okay. Once the bill came is when the scam happened.

We ordered a sashimi assortment (mind you we had to translate the menu with Google) where the price stated 1680 yen. When the bill came they charged us the platter 2 times because they claim that’s the price for each person. Conveniently they claimed to have told us this, they didn’t, and even then, it was not mentioned in the menu ANYWHERE.

This is the first and ONLY time we have gotten scammed in our 4 weeks of our Japan trip. Absolutely horrible behaviour. Of course we paid what they asked. But I warn you to stay away from this place. They prey on the fact that the menu is all in Japanese and they treat you much differently to the Japanese guests.

Never did I think to be scammed like this in Japan...

大阪福島の少し駅から離れたところにある隠れ家的な居酒屋！ ランチでお得な定食や映え丼をされているので知っている人もいるかも👀 今回は夜にお伺いしましたが、最高すぎたのでいくつかご紹介🙌

☑︎名物 痛風爆弾 ¥1,280 牡蠣、カニ、海老、あん肝、白子、いくら、とびこなど豪華海鮮盛り！！ 海鮮をウリにしてるだけあって美味すぎる〜😋

☑︎ふぐ白子 昆布焼 ¥980 季節ですね🥹 白子はふっくらもっちり濃厚で美味い🥰 昆布の旨みが染み込んでたまらない🤤

☑︎鶏ももパリパリ焼き 特製ソース添え ¥980 鶏ももが大きくてジューシーで美味い😚 ソースもしっかり目でかなりいい感じ！！

こちらのお店、日本酒が結構多くってかなりハイペースで飲みすぎちゃいます🍶 自分の好きな日本酒を飲むも良し、好みを伝えてオススメしてもらうも良しで最高に楽しめます👏 もちろん他のドリンクやワインもあるので色々楽しめます！ 今回、創作料理頼むの忘れてたので次回食べに行きたい…
