This newly opened Kobe beef restaurant near Mercure Hotel was almost missed. Not the easiest to spot along the road but gladly stepped in with my family, the beef was melt in your mouth and flavorful as expected with the Kobe beef grading but what stands out is the chef himself. Chef Kojin was extremely enthusiastic and hospitable, a one man army handling our group of 9 with no delay. His explanation of the food and pacing was just right and made the dining experience way more enjoyable. The restaurant itself is modern and clean, not sticky and with old fashioned interiors like most wagyu restaurants. There are baskets for your bags and a nice clean lavatory as well and unlimited sides to pair with your beef. Chef Kojin also speaks english so this is a great place for tourists. As expected the beef itself was very expensive but everything you get with that price makes it worth it. And as with any argument for Kobe beef being so expensive, you gotta try this at least once in your life. Definitely bring a friend or more when eating here to maximize the cost and take your time...
Read moreI have eaten food all over the world but rarely do I eat somewhere where the food and the staff are both kind and the food equally as good. This is one of those rare places, I had met one of the staff walking down the street but was not pressured to come to the restaurant rather we shared a conversation in English and learned about one another. The human connection drove the desire to return and try the food and needless to say I was not disappointed, I have had Kobe from some of the most renowned restaurants in the world and this place stood amongst the best. When I return to Osaka I will return here to enjoy the food and the company once again. If you’re looking for the best steak and the best Kobe in Osaka...
Read moreI just had Kobe steak here in Osaka, and it was truly the best steak I’ve ever had in my life. The flavor, tenderness, and quality were beyond anything I could have imagined—no other steak will ever compare.
We ordered the Emperor Sirloin and Prime Meat, and both were absolutely outstanding. Every bite melted in our mouths and left us speechless.
A huge thank you to the amazing chefs, Anna and Koji, for preparing such an unforgettable meal with such care and skill. Their passion for cooking really shows.
This was not just dinner—it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I’ll never forget. If you are in Osaka, do yourself a favor and try it....
