The special Hamburg steak and beef cutlet lunch here beautifully balanced Western-style comfort food with a refined French bistro touch. The Hamburg steak was juicy and tender, covered in a rich demi-glace sauce that added depth. The beef cutlet offered a satisfying contrast, crisp on the outside and perfectly cooked inside, complemented by the same sauce that tied the whole plate together. The fresh salad with slices of radish brought a refreshing note that lightened the overall dish. The accompanying rice and corn soup completed the meal in a simple but comforting way. A busy restaurant with a nice atmosphere and good views over the river. Food was pretty tasty and reasonably priced for the location and the volume. The salad was beautiful in colour and very fresh and the curry I had was just the right amount of spice. It’s obviously a popular place for local office-workers and maybe that’s why they don’t need to have such good customer service; which was the one area that let this restaurant down. 場所は京阪「中之島」と「渡辺橋」の間にあるカフェで レトロで時代を感じる建築物の２Fにあります。 土曜日に行ったので混んでいるかな？と思ったのですが 意外と行列もなくスッと入ることができました。

窓際のカウンター席も全部空いていたのですが 自然光が真正面から入ってきすぎて、逆光で 逆にプリンが暗くなってしまうと思いテーブル席へと。 お客さんは女性が多いですが特に少し上の世代が多い印象。

ここでは季節ごとに色んなフルーツとコラボした プリンをいただくことができます。 今回は例年登場している「メロン」とのコラボです。

その名も「メロンまるごとプリンアラモード」です。 メロンを半玉も贅沢に使ったスイーツで、球状になった メロンが玉の上に盛られているのが非常に可愛いです。

アールグレイクリームやメロンカスタードクリーム そして塩ミルクアイスクリームが織りなす味わいは最高。

特に推しなのがやっぱり「プリン」なのですが 見た目の色味からもわかるように濃厚なんです！ というのも「龍の卵」を使っているからなんですよね…

パフェとかに乗っているプリンってどうしても チープなプリンになりがちなのですが、これを食べると 主役がメロンではなくプリンということが このプリンへの気合によってわかります。

これを食べたら値段がとっても安く感じます。 メロン半玉使っているだけではなく龍の卵を使ったプリンが 乗っているんだからかなりコスパがいい。 さらに単品とセットだったらそこまで値段が変わらないので 絶対にセットを注文してもらった方がお得かと思います。
