Food was okay, but service was so-so.
Two of our friends went in wanting to share a plate for breakfast with their own drinks. Waitress didn't really speak English but wouldn't allow it. They had to each order their own plate of food or they couldn't stay.
Two of our other friends came to join, and waitress (or owner) again insisted they order food as well. Our friends didn't want to, and had to leave the restaurant. I'd completely understand if the restaurant was packed and you don't want people just coming in to hang out. But this was 1030am in the morning and we were literally the only table of guests she had with the entire place completely empty. Maybe we weren't aware of some unwritten cultural rules? But we also didn't experience this anywhere else for the 12 days we were in Japan.

It’s old, but not worn out, as you can tell the owner has taken very good care of it. We had a breakfast set with coffee and sandwiches and pizza toast. My husband loved “the Popeye” (eggs and spinach sandwiches) and my pizza toast with caramelized onions was tasty. Coffee was OK.
Ordering is done by your phone by scanning a QR code at the tables. No English translation, but my phone easily translated the menu with no issues at all.
