Dion — Restaurant in Osaka

Bar Dion is a really swanky whisky bar with a very nice offering of different whiskeys, especially Glenlivet. I don't know so much about Japanese whiskey, so I asked for some different suggestions. I went with a few friends and the bar tender helped us choose different types to try. The service from the suit clad bar tender was impeccable, he concocted each drink with masterful precision. The whiskeys has a single block of clear ice that he cut. He also served us four courses of small appetizer snacks. The bar table is made out of a massive wooden tree slab, all one piece, I have no idea how they could fit it inside even. The bar seats 10 or so people and there are also a few small tables and one larger table. One caveat, there is a ¥600 table charge per person, bit I guess that is pretty normal for smaller bars...
