It was our first time staying at this hotel although we've stayed in their chain before. It is strategically located in between 2 metro stations. The yodoyabashi station is about 10mins walk from the nearest exit with a lift (exit 10) which is a little far in my opinion. The other station, Kitahama station, is nearer (about 5mins walk to the nearest exit with lift).There are a couple of eateries nearby although it is located in the middle of a business district. There are also a couple of convenience stores nearby (family mart the nearest).As for the room, it is expectedly very clean. We booked the deluxe twin room which is spacious. The toilet and shower areas are seperated which is different from the typical japan hotel toilets. The amenities are free for everyone at the reception counter. You'll have to collect it yourself. Coming from Tokyo and Kyoto, the room we had here was more spacious! We enjoyed our visit here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed had 2 different pillow types, one was firmer than the other, and they were very helpful when I asked to swap my one. The free check in coffee from 3pm-11pm was great, and we liked hanging in the lobby when we wanted to get out of the bedroom. Wifi was great. Also the skin care provided was awesome - my husband and I tried their facemask and our skin was so clear the next day!! It was great. One thing though is that the breakfast was Japanese style, and plenty of it, with some croissants and bread rolls. We are from NZ and we went to breakfast the first day, and then didnt bother the other days, just because it wasn't to our taste. There is a 7/11 close by, and there are a few other cuisine restaurants near; Vietnamese, Indian, a burger place, some cafes. Kitahama for Keihan line is 2mins walk away using exit 6, and Yodoyabashi for Midosuji line is about 5mins...
