I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received at Brooklyn Roasting at Kitahama on August 16th. During our visit, the barista (who may have been a manager) was exceptionally rude and unprofessional. He repeatedly complained that our group was being too loud, despite the fact that the background music was so loud we could barely hear each other speak. This complaint was particularly unreasonable given that we were in a café - an establishment where conversation and social interaction are not only expected but encouraged. The staff member’s behavior was completely inappropriate and suggests a serious lack of customer service training and management oversight. A café should be a welcoming environment where patrons can enjoy both quality beverages and comfortable conversation. This disappointing experience has ensured that I will not be returning to this location.
