Long wait, but probably worth it. Not like I live there, so eat or miss. Oden definitely really good. Prices are low. Maybe combination leads to long line. Service of typical crowded and extremely busy Yatai. We were treated just like everyone else. But, maybe not two hours worth of wait... but to taste something, you gotta do what you gotta do. You have to wait your turn right? How much time do you have? Items on the first line of menu is 100 Yen. Specials and seasonals are 200-400 Yen. English menu available, and you write your order down on a piece of paper. Pointing also allowed (at least for us, and a couple other people's hands sticking out of their booths). The aroma is worth standing around (maybe the first 30 minutes). If you weren't hungry when you started in line, you would be when you get to the front. So food tastes better when you are hungry, except this stuff may taste good even if you'll full. Here's repeat of the other review that I though I wrote, but got blown away... Their secret may be the broth. Also their Quality Control seem to be good where they let the Daikon soak in and tender to the first bite. UFO got my attention - good tasting - enough that aliens invading in one of those aren't going to be able to land before being eaten by hungry guests in line here. Yes, I've had good Oden before at other Yatai before. The ones I've been to, were this good and would also rate a five, but were more expensive. There aren't that many Yatai Oden places left in Japan, at least where I've been or where I usually hang out. Do I recommend it? YES.

We waited about more than an hour on a weekday at 6pm. What was interesting about this waiting process was that if you were a group of three or more a staff would talk to them separately and then the group would go somewhere else. It didn’t matter if they came after you or not. I later found out that they opened a new store in the block above and would tell a large group of costumers to go there and without having to wait they would grab a table there. Again, it didn’t matter if there was a group that waited for two hours before them.
In terms of food it was just mid. It’s nothing special, nothing amazing but just alright. I found this to be quite surprising because our group was hungry and we waited in the cold for a long time. Usually if you have food in such state it should taste amazing. But it was just alright. I think that says a lot about it.
If you have been waiting for thirty minutes and you are still halfway in line this is your sign to go somewhere else. There is always a better restaurant in Osaka. If you must stay and try this food go ahead. I’ll recommend you to order radish, tofu wrap with udon inside and enoki mushrooms. Don’t get yuzu octopus or cabbage with cheese (unless you really like cheese).
짧게 말하자면 웨이팅하지 마시고 딴데 가는 것을 추천합니다. 맛이 없는건 아닌데 한시간 이상 기다릴만한가? 라는 질문에는 절대 아니라고 말할 것 같아요.
굳이 드셔야겠다면 윗 블락에 있는 같은 가게가 운영하는 우동이랑 오뎅 집을 가세요. 덜 알려져서인지 거기가 줄이 적을겁니다. 개인적으로 양배추 치즈 말이는 별로였습니다. 치즈 특유의 향이 너무 강했거든요. 그리고 유자 문어 요리도 비추천합니다. 일단 추운 날씨에 이 시릴정도로 추운 요리는 아닌 것 같고요. 유자향도 애매하고 문어회 자체가 오뎅국물이나 오뎅요리에 어울리지 않았어요. 추천 요리는 무, 양송이 버섯, 유부안에 들어간 우동면이에요.
