We were just wondering around B2 of Daimaru department store and stumbled on this little restaurant at the corner of the grocery section.
We heard of omurice and seen it on many of popular Youtube channels but never try it.
A quick search online and we found out that this restaurant was actually the original creator of omurice!? 😲
Anyway, we ordered two different types of omurice, one is mushroom and one is chicken. Bith tasted similar because the rice inside the omelet use the same seasoning to cook except the ingredient is different.
We like it because it's not salty and very mild. The gravy is very nice and not thick. The teo tempura prawn was huge and tasty. The chicken karaage was also very good. We even ordered a side of three piece chicken.
It is a lot of food and the meal was very satisfying.
This is definitely something everyone coming to Japan...

On the side, there's a little window by the chef. You can watch him make an omurice if you...

Despite the price, the taste/flavor was great. The rice was seasoned and the omelett was a...
