We went to this incredible one-star Michelin restaurant for lunch and then went back a second time! It is housed in a beautifully renovated old-fashioned house in Osaka, and the food and service are just excellent. Each course is a delightful fusion of Italian and Japanese techniques, with local ingredients. We were lucky that the menu changed on our second visit, so we got to experience a wide array of artistic and meticulously-flavored dishes by the talented chef. One major con though was that the waitress barely spoke any English - usually I wouldn’t consider this a problem, but given that this is a Michelin star restaurant I would really expect more. She wasn’t able to explain most of the dishes in English, so we had to figure it out on our own, which I don’t find acceptable for such a high level restaurant.
