I had the sashimi, baked shiitake and tempura ocean eel (Anago) in dashi. No English menu but ask the chef for recommendations, they are very kind and accommodating!

This a really nice and tasty izakaya offering fixed course menu. You can choose A, B or C. We did the C menu. Lots of food actually. Marinated with a tasty sake (dry and carbonated). The couple running the izakaya are lovely and friendly. She speaks almost perfect English so don’t worry if you’re a foreigner, she can drive you through the menu, will explain everything about the food and every single dish. This was our favorite meal in Osaka, without a doubt! We had the most wonderful experience talking with the wife and husband who run Izakaya Susa all evening. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious. The scallops and the soba especially were excellent! Couldn’t recommend this restaurant...
