Mimiu Hanshin-Ten — Restaurant in Osaka

A Japanese friend brought us to this lovely hot pot restaurant. It is a specialty chain with only a few locations, all exclusively in Osaka. The outlet we visited is on the 9th floor of Hanshin building, very easy to find it.

The soup base comes with a wide spread of vegetables, anago and chicken, and the UDON (the key ingredient of this dish). Generous portion, and staff helped the setting up of the dishes in the pot. We had a great dining experience.

前日に食べたホルモンうどんがあたってしまって、うどんしか食べられない状態でしたのでこちらを予約出来て良かったです。 うどんすきは初めてでしたが、おでんをつついてるみたいで楽しいですね。前半、お出汁が薄くて物足りないなと思いましたが、30分くらい経過して煮詰まってくると味がはっきりしてくる感じでした。長時間煮詰める前提と言う点で難しい食べ物ですね。おでんはベストの状態で出てきますし、鍋はタレに付けて食べたりしますので。 最後に濃くなったお出汁にご飯を入れて雑炊にすることも出来て、そっちの方が美味しかったです。お鍋だと具材をわざと残して雑炊にしたりしますが、こちらでは具材は全て無くして下さいとのことでしたので注意が必要です。

また、Webから予約する時に子供を選ぶとうどんすきはカウントされず、大人分しかカウントされません。サイドメニューを足せば良いやと思っていても、うどんすき以外のサイドメニューがあまりないのでよく食べる家族の場合は注意が必要です。この辺で不便を感じたので一点減点しています。 ただ、落ち着いた空間でゆっくりご飯を楽しめたので個人的には...
