This was my worst experience in Japan. Some of the staff were not friendly, which really affected my impression of Japanese hospitality. The waitress at my table didn’t proactively ask for my order, and I wondered if it was because I’m from Hong Kong and don’t speak Japanese. However, I didn’t encounter this issue elsewhere in Japan.
When I asked for an extra pair of chopsticks after accidentally dropping mine, and when I inquired about the meal, my friend noticed the staff rolling their eyes at me right after answering. This lack of courtesy was very disappointing.

The beef was amazing with marbling I have never seen before. Because of this, it definitely needs rice and drinks to balance out the richness of the beef. There is all you can eat rice with the set so it was all good.
The service was amazing and they were able to explain all the dishes, ways to eat them and recommendations of different cuts. They also was very kind and welcoming with hospitality that I wish was standard in the rest of the world.
