Minamimorimachi Romantic Shokudo — Restaurant in Osaka

My friend and I were in the neighbourhood for an art show, and wanted to eat dinner afterwards. We found this place on Google maps, and it looked like a fun, funky place. We were not disappointed! All of the food options were reasonably priced, and although the ones featuring meat and cheese looked incredible, we opted for some of the more veggie-forward dishes. Every single thing was delicious, and to our surprise, the L-size green salad actually was very large! It was definitely the biggest salad I have ever seen in Japan. 😋 The fruit chu-hi drinks we ordered were colorful and tasty as well 🍹🍹 The atmosphere was casual and fun. The part we liked most was the table seating; all of the chairs looked to have been purchased from second-hand office supply. Black, faux-leather swivel rolly chairs, armrests and all. It really made me laugh for some reason. My friend said there looked to be a party room on the upper floor (?) but I didn't see it for myself. My one complaint is that the open floor plan is a drawback if someone near your table is smoking. That's the only reason I didn't give the atmosphere 5 stars. Overall I really liked...

本日のディナーは、南森町ロマンチック食堂。

天神橋筋商店街から少し東側に入った場所にある、カジュアルイタリアンのお店。ガラス張りのお店でオシャレなんですよね。

この日は近くの堀川戎神社でお祭りがあったので、混んでるかな？と思いつつ飛び込み訪問するも、比較的空席が多いタイミングでした。が、そんなことは関係ございません。今日のお目当ては、

チーズ！

そう、こちらのお店。魅せるチーズ料理があるんですよ。

名物メニューの、 じゃがバタ＆ソーセージ、ベーコンのラクレットチーズがけ！

そして、パルミジャーノ・レッジャーノの器で仕上げるポルチーニ茸のパスタ。

この2品が食べたくての訪問なんですよ。

目の前で炙ってくれるラクレットチーズがかかったじゃがバタは、チーズの塩味が素材の味を引き立ててくれますよ。

また、パルミジャーノ・レッジャーノで仕上げたパスタは、ポルチーニ茸とチーズの濃厚ソースが、タリアテッレの麺に絡まってほんとコッテリ旨いんですよ。

シーザーサラダや前菜盛り合わせ、お肉3種盛りなどを頼んでお腹いっぱいたべても、1人あたり5,000円以下で収まりますので、コスパも高いです。

お腹に余裕があれば、ピザまでたどり着きたかったんですが、残念ながら次回に持ち越します！
