I’ve been to over 10 dipping noodle restaurants, and if I were judging just the flavor, I’d give this place 3 stars (average). But because the service was so good, I decided to give it 4 stars.

First, the "Thick Soy Sauce Dipping Noodle Soup" has a nice thickness to the broth, but the flavor just didn’t feel right. I won’t say much about the greasiness, since that’s a common issue with thick dipping noodles—it always feels a bit heavy by the end. But aside from that, the broth was way too salty and sweet at the same time (which sounds weird, I know). Also, they added too much raw onion in the soup, which really messed with the texture of the noodles, making them less chewy than they should’ve been.

The Japanese karaage fried chicken was just okay. The ginger flavor was a bit too strong for me, but I liked that it was the darker-style karaage, which I find better than the lighter versions some ramen places serve.

As for the service, unlike many ramen shops, this place doesn’t offer options like diluting the dipping broth with stock or hot water (soup cutter) or reheating the broth. They also don’t provide paper bibs. What’s unique, though, is their special dipping sauce for eating the noodles sashimi-style. It’s free if you order dipping noodles, but you have to ask for it yourself—they won’t offer it proactively.

Overall, the staff were friendly when I ordered and paid. Since I can read Japanese, I used the Japanese menu, but I noticed they also have an English menu for those who can’t read Japanese, so feel free...

The broth was pork/chicken base, of thick consistency and very tasty. Noodles were "regular" thickness and not too soft. The Ramen came with a topping of green onions, bamboo shoots ("menma") and a slice of somewhat fatty pork. Overall the dish was very delicious but not yummy enough to drink to the last drop. As side menu I had the fried dumplings ("gyoza") which where crispy & the good kind of chewy. Would recommend...

Wonderful little spot for an amazing bowl of ramen!

We stayed in Osaka for 3 nights and went here twice we enjoyed it so much! The flavour of the original blend salt chicken ramen was so good and the karaage was so crispy and crunchy we couldnt help going back!

The staff are so nice to english speaking customers and I will happily go again in the future when we come...
