Starbucks Coffee - Midosuji-Hommachi — Restaurant in Osaka

Maybe I'm not used to Japanese culture but is this not a coffee shop where people chat and converse to one another? I was asked by a staff member to speak a little softer because one of their regular customer who was on their own didn't like the noise coming from my communal table! This one lady is here every day and sits by herself. Seriously it's a coffee shop not a library. Staff should realise this and let this cow know that it's a coffee shop. If you want quiet, go to a library. Seriously annoyed at Starbucks. Last time I'll be giving them my money...

This Starbucks at Midosuji-Hommachi has such a calm vibe, especially for being right in the middle of the city it’s a perfect little escape. The space feels really clean and modern, and the staff are super friendly and efficient, even during busier hours. I grabbed a seat by the window and just watched people go by while sipping my drink, and it was honestly such a relaxing break. If you want to impress the Girlfriend, Mistress or Other this is a good place to go. It has 2 exits so you both can escape the wife if positioned well.

The cold drink options are not so great and in the heat I chose the only smoothie like offering.

Not the most private of spots so if you want to tongue wrestle you may be booted or asked to calm down, you are in public and this is Japan!
