Hommachi Station — Local services in Osaka

It was not easy to find an elevator on this station and it's not very accessible as it was mostly stairs. not a lot of escalators from where we got off.

If you have issues walking, I don't recommend taking Exit 9.

Exit 9 essentially is 4 flights of stairs from the bottom of the station to the top where the exit is... This is not ideal especially if you are carrying luggage or have someone who is not able to walk far.

We weren't able to find an elevator for this station, there probably was one but it was not easy to locate or we had to walk quite far to find it.

Eventually we just avoided this station as it was not that accessible, maybe next time when I come back I will explore it more but I would not recommend Exit 9 if you...

Hommachi Station, specifically on the Midosuji Line, located right beneath my hotel, The St. Regis Osaka, became my primary transportation choice during my stay. I recently used the excellent luggage service counter located temporarily at the Hommachi Station East ticket gate (Osaka Metro - around location “h” or near exit 16). The staff was incredibly helpful, ensuring my luggage was delivered to the airport the next day. A special thanks to the very friendly manager.
