Temmabashi River Cafe — Restaurant in Osaka

The place was a lot smaller than I expected and while it may be nice to sit outside, on a weekend, reservations are required. But the worst part is that the indoor area felt so hot. It would have been cooler to sit outside. The fans didn’t help either.

We had one drink each, and a few plates. Total came out to be 6000 yen for 2 because we had to order more due to the small portions. Definitely a drinking place but not as nice as I had expected. Avocado dip was creamy and tasty. Kani miso gratin was too salty. Everything else was alright. My “drink” was essentially, ginger ale with a piece of lime but they made it sound like an actual drink. Absolutely disgusting service. Would NOT recommend for foreigners. I went to pay the bill and was rudely told by the waiter on the bar that my card declined. She then rudely harassed me for another card to which I kindly asked her to try it again. She said “NOOO!” Card worked fine in the end.

Seriously don’t bother, pizzas undercooked, overpriced and no taste. Went to pay the bill and the rude chick said the card didn’t work and refused to try again.
