Tenma Italian pizza Allegro Temma — Restaurant in Osaka

A lovely & cozy Italian restaurant not too far from Imperial Hotel in Tenma. We went there for dinner and ordered few different dishes and were well prepared. BUT the issue we had that evening was with a corked bottle of wine. we orderer Mastroberardino Taurasi Radici 2017. The bottle was faulty and requested to be exchange with another bottle. The chef/owner came back with the bottle and left it on the table and told us, it was good. So we requested to have another bottle (and pay for both bottles), we were told it was the last bottle (unlucky), so we choose another wine, Bertani Valpolicella...and it was fine. When the bill arrived, we were fully charged for the corked bottle...so we felt disappointed 😢 A corked bottle of wine can happen anywhere and it is not the fault of the restaurant or wine producer (and the wine can be returned to the supplier too) so the team could have done a better job. Others tables were drinking beers or Coca Cola, we should have done the same!!! (And I've been in the wine business for over 30 years...

Lovely restaurant, we went for a weekday lunch with a kid. The staff was really kind and made efforts to translate today's pasta sauce in English. We took the pizza lunch set and 2 pasta sets. You get a salad as a starter with ham and shrimps. Good dressing. Pizza and pasta was perfect. The fresh pasta portion was maybe too small but I finished my kids' plate, so no problem...

Absolutely fabulous meal at Allegro. One of the best meals I had in Japan. Hot, fresh authentic Italian. Bolognese was 11/10. Perfectly executed. Bruschetta was also outstanding. Juicy tomatoes, lots of olive oil and seasoned properly. English menu. Accommodating friendly staff. What more could you ask for?...
