This is the best tempura I've had in a long time. The food is made fresh right in front of you. Very high quality meats and vegetables. The oil is also very fresh and doesn't make the food taste old or soggy. We waited maybe 3 minutes for the food to be ready. The prices are VERY CHEAP for such a big portion size. I had the shrimp tempura with 3 vegetables for just 550 after tax and I couldn't even finish the plate! I'd highly recommend this restaurant for both Japanese locals and foreigners who want delicious food with a very good price. Will definitely come back...

上天丼 700円 近鉄大阪難波駅より徒歩1分。 なんばウォーク内で、御堂筋の改札からもすぐのとこにあります。 そじ坊、丼丼亭などを展開されている株式会社グルメ杵屋の店舗です。 天亭はここだけのようです。 店内はこぢんまりとしていて厨房を囲むようにコの字のカウンター席のみ。 上天丼を注文。 注文から3分ほどで着丼。 えび天3尾、ししとう天、茄子天、のり天がのっています。 天ぷらは熱々で衣はサクッとした軽い食感。海老ぷりっとして、野菜はほっくりとしてました。 タレはあっさりとして甘めでさらっといただけました。 上天丼にはサービスで赤出汁がついているのがちょっと嬉しいサービス。 ちょっとしょっぱめの味付けで、豆腐と三つ葉が入ってました。 揚げたての天ぷらが700円で食べれるのはリーズナブルでありがたいです。 ご馳走様でした。
