Torori Tenshi-no-Warabimochi Tenjinbashi ( Angels’ bracken-starch dumpling ) — Restaurant in Osaka

I was walking along Tenjinbashi Suji Shotengai in Osaka and came across this really pretty matcha shop. They had three matcha options for lattes. Lowest grade. Middle grade. First harvest single origin. I picked the middle single origin and the service was honestly so good. The girl working even placed the whole bottle of sweetener on my tray in case I needed it which I never had anyone do before.

The matcha quality was really high. The flavor was bitter for me personally and not quite my preferred matcha profile but my fiancé would absolutely love this kind of taste. I also added boba which was interesting because the boba itself had zero sweetness. Texture was just okay but the matcha itself was pure and strong. It was still a really nice spot to sit at and I genuinely enjoyed the whole experience. High quality matcha and very kind service. I would come back to try their first harvest...

Warabi mochi is a refreshing dessert, especially after a heavy meal! This is the best warabi mochi I have had. It's creamy and melts in your mouth as you eat it.

We ordered the set, which comes with two warabi mochi and a green tea. We chose kinako and matcha for our mochi. It was spring, so there was also a special sakura flavour that we ordered as well. The sakura was amazing! The flavour was delicate and refreshing.

The cream warabi mochi was delicious as well. It comes frozen, so you have to wait an hour to eat it. I tried the black sesame flavour.

There is limited seating, with just four seats at a small bar inside the shop (open area, exposed to the shopping plaza) and two benches right outside in the hall of the...

A great place if you want to enjoy a matcha drink or some sweets. The matcha is prepared to order, so it’s always fresh.

You can choose between three grades of matcha. I recommend the highest grade if you want to drink it pure, without milk.

We also ordered the warabimochi with roasted soybean flour, which was just incredible. The texture is super soft and melts perfectly in your mouth.

There are seats where you can relax peacefully. I highly recommend this spot for any matcha lover.
