I was hesitant whether I should give this place 4 or 5 stars. But since it’s one of my favorite places in Umeda, I gave it 5. “Negative” point about this place is, that it can get a bit pricey in there and expect to pay around a thousand yen for a coffee and a dessert for example (on average). On the other side, it is Tully’s coffee, so one probably knows where he is going and what prices to expect… also, you can just buy a small coffee, tea or whatever and sit there how long you want… I’m not sure if all, but a good half of seats has a plug either on the table (most tables facing directly the window) or somewhere near, where you can charge your latest technologies. The store itself doesn’t have a toilet I believe, but there is a public toilet in the building, just behind the corner. The place looks rather fancy and stylish, with a nice melody playing in the background, so one can feel kind of relaxed. There are single seats, tables for two or four, and also a big couch, if one just wants to sit in something more comfy and relax. Another “negative”, but I find it as a positive point is that it can be a bit tricky to find the place, that’s why you won’t really encounter much tourists and most of the time you’ll see only locals there, nonetheless only with the local power the place can get pretty crowded. That doesn’t mean though it’ll be noisy, because many people are just doing some work or study over there. And Japanese people are usually not as loud in cafes I would say 😅 You would need to take either an elevator to get up there - when you cross the bridge from grand front south to grand front north, you don’t enter the mall via the main entrance but just right next to it there are these small glass doors with elevators to the left, go there and take an elevator to the 9th floor… or another way is to go through the mall, ride some escalators, walk through a big terrace (which is beautiful by the way and you’ll get many stunning views on Umeda from up there) and get yourself to the 9th floor like this. What I would be happier about is, if the opening time was a bit longer, because it’s opened only till 8pm, but if one needs to work or do whatever a bit longer, there is another Tully’s coffee at the bottom of the mall till 10pm But in the end, I enjoy returning there just for the atmosphere and the view on busy Osaka...

I stopped by here for a break. Here is located on the 9th floor of Grand Front Osaka. This place seems to be mainly targeted at office workers on weekdays, and it is relatively easy to get a seat outside that time. The space between the seats, the quality of the seats, etc. It's very comfortable. Perfect for a reading book or small stady. The cafe latte is the same as other stores. Cost of the short size is about ¥360. However, don't forget to follow good manners such as using it...
