Umeda Wine Bar Barumiche — Restaurant in Osaka

😡😡😡 This restaurant is a ripoff and they're scamming customers. The food was good but we were surprised by the bill in the end & the small amount of food. My friend and I ordered a set meal for the 2 of us since we thought it was enough for us 2 but the portions were tiny. We also were charged twice for the set. We also ordered an extra large pizza since we were still hungry and we were charged once like normal. We asked if this was correct and the waiter said yes. We ended up paying 11000yen for not a lot of food. Even our a5 wagyu AYCE meals at other restaurants were significantly cheaper than this place. If there was a seating charge then the waiter should have said so in the beginning or given us 2x the amount of food like we paid for. Dirty dirty dirty.

I hope this place gets investigated and shut down for their underhanded...

A bar near the Umeda station directly below the tracks. You can feel the vibrations when a train passes through. There are two floors; the second one is usually used for group gatherings which was the one I had for this dinner. I honestly thought the food was so-so when I entered so I did not expect much. So when it came I was pleasantly surprised. Particularly the steak and the fries from the course were exceptional. The pace for the orders actually was impressive too, given only 2 or 3 waitstaff was in charge of our 40-man group. If there was one thing to improve, that is how they handled the cleaning when they accidentally broke a glass. Please use a broom next time, you don’t want to hurt yourself in...

もう今まで味わった事がないくらい、そして怒りに震えながらこれを書いてますが、サービス(接客)に関しては⭐️1もつける価値が無い最低店です。 料理は、12人で予約(バルミチェルコースで予約) 4×3テーブルで、各テーブル1種類出てくると思ったらピザのみ3皿、あとは全て2皿。 ジェラートは人数分。 驚く程物によってバラつきあり。 8人分でも少ないくらい。 あれで12人分の設定か甚だ疑問です。 お店の名誉の為に書きますが味は普通です。

電話予約の際、飲み放題付けますかと聞かれ.まだ決めていませんとお伝えしたら、では当日店員に言ってもらったら付けれますのでお気軽にお声掛けくださいと言われ本日入店。 私達の接客を担当していた、女性店員にその旨伝えると、電話で付けないと聞いてますと強い口調で言われ、ん？とまず思い渋々単品でお酒を注文。 次に、お席は2時間制で必ず20時には退店して下さいと言われ、それは仕方ないと納得。 しかし料理も出てくるまでかなり時間が掛かり、2時間満喫出来たかと聞かれたら全く出来ませんでした。 極め付けはお会計時、お会計はテーブルでと掲示されているのでカードを渡した所、暗証番号いりますと言われたので、サインしますと伝えると暗証番号いりますの一点張り。 じゃあ、押しますので機械どこですか？と聞くと下ですと2階から1階に行くよう店員から苛立った顔で指示されました。 ここで店長もしくはオーナーにクレームをいれようかと思いましたが私の社員がいた為怒りに震えながら我慢しました。 とどめは、まだ20時まで時間があるのにそろそろ退店してくださいと言われ気分がかなり悪く退店しました。 外に出た後、どの社員に聞いても、この店の接客は過去一で最低ですねと言われたので皆の思いは一緒なんだと一致しました。

私は周りに良くも悪くもお店のオススメはしませんが、ハッキリ言います。 この店の某女性店員の接客は最低です。 私がオーナーなら即厳重注意するレベルです。 お店の雰囲気はいいだけに、この店員1人に私達会社の2023年の忘年会は潰されました。 名誉の為に、名前は書きませんが他のお客さんが被害に合わないようにこの評価を記載します。 本当は店員名書きたい程ですが、彼女が反省する事を願ってあえて伏せます。 (ただあの態度は絶対に反省なんかしない)
