Ramen restaurant — Restaurant in Sakai

Ramen. Must dos in Japan.

Roamed around and figured I'll give this place a go. Dropped in, and yes truthfully my Japanese is terrible. One of the other guests moved so this silly American can sit down and order.

What's kind of wild is, this place opens at 12pm - 130pm. You have a small window to get some solid ramen. I didn't know how to read the menu and felt presured to just order something. So I pointed to whatever the gent next to me was eating.

Ended up getting the soyu ramen. As expected it was salty, lol, but rich delicious broth, some cabbage, bamboo, and decent amount of charshu pork. It also came with a side of rice. So, you want to put the little black seeds on the rice (that's what everyone else did). Uh, yah so ramen was pretty win... but what I wished I got was the hell ramen x6. I think that's what they're known for.

Really nice owners, very helpful and pleasant. Don't really speak English but was a pleasure dining here. Going to try making it back for a 2nd round.

At 700 yen... omg killer killer...

先日、１８時過ぎに行ったらやって無く、違う中華店で食事しての帰り道、シャッター開けて営業中。まぁまぁお客さん入ってる。マップの訂正もお構い無しの長年のお店。２０年以上やってはります。 実はその頃たまに食べに行ってた「地獄ラーメン」。路駐が煩く無い時代です。

今日は夜の開店時間狙い入店です。

お店の雰囲気は当時のまま、多分リフォームくらいはされてるんでしょうが、汚れはありません。 マスターも元々短い頭やったけど、もう坊主頭。 １人やったと思うが、女将さんと一緒です。

「みそ地獄ラーメン６倍」「チャーハン」を注文。 もっと辛かった様な気もするけど、激辛ブームも定着してこちらの口も変わってるか？笑。

･みそ地獄、しっかり味噌の旨味あり。 １０倍も出来るらしいから、チャンスあるなら次回試してみたい。 チャーシュー少し硬め。麺は柔らかめなので、硬めで注文した方が美味しいと思う。

･チャーハンは少し小振りかな。多分豚骨スープベースの味付け。所々白飯が見えるけど気にならなかった。

特筆すべきは２０年以上、あまり価格が変わっていないこと。まぁ上がってても若干です。
