Love espresso — Restaurant in Sapporo

Can attest to the reviews about the lady staff in the morning being downright rude. I asked if they had oat milk option as I usually would, and she responded so rudely and condescendingly it shocked me. I wondered where such attitude is coming from hence digging through the reviews, and true enough, there have been reviewers here who have experienced the same thing and mentioned she only turns friendly when a customer is a westerner or a local. We’re southeast asians so I guess it figures. Once we placed our order, she asked if it’s for takeout. I don’t know what gave her that idea when the place was literally empty. :/ She probably wanted us out of her sight lol. Same with what the others have mentioned, there was loud banging all around while she made our drinks and when she put our cups on the table. If you’re a foreigner, just avoid this place and don’t condone such behaviour. Coffee wasn’t even good; it was burnt. We have tried iced latte, hot latte and the seasonal drink 'sugary' (like a sweet western style iced mocha) all have been excellent. My fiancee loves the sugary! It's a small space but quite comfortable and thus far I haven't seen it completely full. The young barista is friendly and focused on his work. Edit: visited while the owner was there, she was lovely and her special iced drink 'the fall' was awesome too! December 2022 update. Still just as awesome as ever
